Bird is the word

Twitter unveiled a new logo Tuesday featuring a redesigned bird. A big deal? Yes, if you believe the lofty proclamation in this L.A. Times story: “Whether soaring high above the Earth to take in a broad view, or flocking with other birds to achieve a common purpose, a bird in flight is the ultimate representation of freedom, hope and limitless possibility.”

OK, then.

And in honor of the changeover, here’s a “Family Guy” treat.
