Tips for journalists utilizing Facebook

If I had a dollar for every time a political figure tried to “friend” me on Facebook – well, let’s just say the folks at Java Detour would be very happy.

Journalists need to be very careful as to how they interact on Facebook, particularly with political candidates and public officials. Some excellent advice is dispensed in this post on Poynter.org.

Remember – perception is reality.
